When I first heard about another one of Fergusons splash out buys, I thought, who the hell is he? Then after watching him for a couple of games I saw that he was a quality buy. I still didn't know whether £10m was the correct price but I kept watching. He grew and grew on me and I then realised that Ferguson knew what he was on about. I think Stam has just about played his £10m and was worth the buy. He is arguably the best defender in the world. He would definately be in my dream team.
