Jaap Staam has been a wonderful signing for Manchester United. He was given a lot of stick when Manchester United bought him for £10.5 million from PSV Eindhoven. Now, he has shown he is worth all of that and even more. He is a fanatastic central defender and his tackling ability is wonderful. He is very big and strong and his passing is always neat and tidy. Jaap Stam is even good at goalscoring. His headers are sometimes directed into the net. Overall Jaap Stam is a fantastic world class defender and let's hope he can keep it up and steer Manchester United to yet another Premiership crown.
