SuperstitionNewest Review: ... today, I didn't have school. How lucky. Another one that is quite well known is "Hold your breath when passing a graveyard" or "If you go pass a graveyard just touch red". Crazy things, I mean what is going to happen if I don't ? The dead people will turn to zombies and start eating me? You, my friend, play too many Video games. I remember that my brother always held his ... more |

Why am I writing about Superstition. Well It's Friday 13th and. Nothing bad has happened on any Friday 13th before but, I'm home alone and rather hoping something will happen... (Is that normal?). I have never been superstitious. I've been fairly paranoid, but I have always thought people, such as my brother, who are superstitious are... well super stupid. I have to admit that I am somewhat superstitious, but when it has been passed down from my grandma to my mother and now to me, I wonder if I will pass it down to my own children too? Okay, I admit it, they think I am crazy, especially when I come out with daft things like telling them to throw salt over their left shoulder if they spill any or if I drop a knife on the ... Superstition is a subject that I have always been fascinated in and I am so pleased it has now been listed onto the dooyoo database so everybody can share their experiences and what they believe in. For me the subject has been very apparent in my life due to my Nan and Dad who are both extremely superstitious and instead of telling them they were mad I have followed suit in some of the things that I do in everyday life. Here is my story about superstition. First of all I suppose I better explain exactly what superstition is: I was looking on the internet for descriptions and found three very good ways of telling you what it is but all of ...
