I love steiff, i wont say i love steiff teddy bears as i have always adored there aminal collections much more than there teddys.

I am a great lover of monkeys, i had collected monkey teddys all my life, some would go as far to say i am obsessed and yes may be i am.

I have collected around 300 monkeys so far but have all been of the cheap variety, no names or any thing but wholst looking on ebay last year i dont know why but i went into the steiff section and saw 2 mo haire monkeys from the 1950,s.

I put these down to watch them to see how they were doing and logged in a couple of times each day to see if there price had gone up.

To my amazement no one bid on them so i got me 2 steiff monkeys for £3.

After this i saw that steiff had made a 2007 baby monkey and had to have him, he cost me £17 from steiff, i adore them all.

Just before christmas my cat garfield got run over and sadly died so i decided to look for a ginger kitten from steiff, after all i wouldnt have to remember to feed this one, there was a lady selling one on ebay which went through the roof, i bid up to £50 on him then decided that was me out.

He eventually sold for £90 but the buyer never paid and after reading the sellers bad feedback about this i emailed the seller and she sold the ginger kitty to me for £30, what a bargain.

just before christmas wholst looking through my studio catalogue i noticed they had a steiff teddy bear called charly for £20.
As i said before im not into teddys but i had to buy this one as my niece is named charlie.

I love steiff animals and if you are loking for a bargain ebay is very good but beware some of the teddys are sold in sets of 2 or more and most times you will find only one of them is a steiff.
