Teenage pregnancy is such a big deal in Britain at the moment and i live in Telford the teenage pregnancy capital of Europe (honestly) but im afraid to say noone can judge this 'epedemic' of teenage parents because each situation is unique.

most people believe that the schools are to blame and sex education is terrible in schools, i disagree. i have literally just left school, well in the last few years and i thought sex education was very good and it would put you off having sex believe me when you see the results of sti's and meet the poor unfortunate girls who have children at 14 and ruin their lives. WEll alot of that is crap...sorry to say it but its true

I was pregant at the age of 14, i was with my partner who i am stiil with today, i was top of every class (so was he) and we were the typical geeks but we still got pregnant. It wasnt expected or planned it was a genuine accident as most teenage pregnancies are, unfortunatly i never met my son as i miscarried but i had the full support of everyone and was even continuing with school while i was too big to go to school my partner was bringing work home for me to do and i enjoyed it.

You hear all these stories about teens just getting pregnant for a house or money and some do i wont disagree some of my friends have and i have been tempted before but in the end alot of the time those teenagers actually have genuine problems they need to get away from and having a baby seems to them the only way out and the only way they can have someone to love forever who will love them unconditionally back.
