I dont really know how to start this opinion..I suppose at the beginning would be good, I was married once but now unfortunately am a weekend dad, this week I have my son from friday to sunday...My son has not really been himself now for about three weeks, and after having one of our father/son chats. I came to realise just how much the recent troubles in America have affected everyone...including the young in our society!!

I was sitting watching the tv, with my son and suddenly upon the appearance of an aircraft he said " I`m never going to go on an airplane". I asked him why he had said that? The reply for a seven year old was very profound! and it made me think, he replied... Because there are too many evil people in the world who don`t want other people to have fun. Now firstly i would like to say that, the world as it is today is about freedom, and having fun unless I`m very much mistaken? So why am I being told by a seven year old child that he is never going to join in this "GLOBAL" fun?

I know different countries have different beliefs, religions, cultures. But dont they also have children? Surely the young in communities from all over the world are going to be the (so called) grown ups who will be one day running the world. I think personally that the people who are inciting the violence and mayhem around the world, really should sit back and take stock of how many "young" people in the world are actually opposed to they`re beliefs instead of just thinking that they are going to "go along " with what they`re seemingly having thrust upon them everyday!!

I and a fair number of folk from all over the planet, know that this is not over yet, and surely a line should be drawn, and a lesson learned from the recent EVIL!! No matter what the religion, belief, culture, everyone should be living in "peace" to coin a phrase, youngsters such as my son and he`s friends should be left with
a world that both understands, what people are saying. And what they represent! And not being scared of other cultures, and ultimately growing to dislike them as they grow up into adults!!

I suppose what I am trying to say is...Dont try to force you`re beliefs onto people, let them decide for themselves. And as for killing innocent and unknowing people, WHAT is the point! The truth is that everyday folk just dont think about all the hatred in the world, and to be honest until something like this happens. They probably dont even realise its there, I will not direct this question to anyone in particular, but can you just explain why? DIFFICULT ISN`T IT!!
