Terrorrism is probably the most used word in the media at present.

The events of Sept 11 have changed a great many things. The world is not the same place anymore.

The events of that day have led on to a war, a war against terrorrism. But how will that work. How can we have a war against terrorrism. What is the definiton of terrorrism. It is true, someone we may regard as a terrorrist, may a freedom fighter for others. Someone we regard as a terrorrist may be a hero to those whose freedom he is fighting for.

Killing innocent people is something that is wrong and cannot be justified at all. But that gos for everyone, it is not right for anyone to kill innocent people. If we deeply think about what has been going on in the world, in the last 20 years or so millions of innocent people have been killed all over the world. Wars have been taking place all over the world. I can go in o detail but that is not the point of my opinion.

The point I would like to make is that fighting does not solve anything. Violence is not an answer, it is ammuniton, it makes things worse.

Also, if one persn is responsible for a crime, you cannot blame a whole group for that crime. Every human being is an individual, andeach individual is responsible for his actions.

As in all things it is frustration if, un-chequed that inevitably leads to violence. The banging your head against a brick wall syndrome. Yet another good op.

I tend to agree with your comments on labelling a whole nation for the crimes of a few. There IS another way to change things, not through bombing innocent people, hightening tension and producing more fundamentalism - instead we should stand in solidarity will ALL victims of terror, be they american or afgans.

Mass movements from below can make a difference, its just a shame that the working class in britain today is so weak - its going to be an uphill struggle, but a cause worth struggling for.
