The best job in the worldNewest Review: ... millions strong work force! A man recently was competing in a gameshow called 'The best job in the world' and Ben Southall from the United Kingdom won The prize of 72.5K and the responsibility of being a caretaker for the Great Barrier reef. He also received a luxury beach house and a car etc, and at only 31 that is a major achievement. The recruit must only work 12 HOURS IN A MONTH(what I work in a day) and he must feed hundreds of species of fish and collect 'Island mail' The best part is that he recieves a 70,000 GBP salary! all for reporting back about tourism and attractions and so on. For me, I would kill to be in that man's position... more |

The best job in the world is always a man getting paid loads to do nothing. Just like many buisnessmen and entrepeanurs in the big wide world. Recently Sir Richard Branson revealed that doing one or two checks a day! was all he needed to do, the rest was up to his millions strong work force! I must say that I am hughly jealous of the man who got the "best job in the world" caretaking a secluded paradise island for a hugh sum of money. I cannot think of a better job than being able to scuba dive in the coral reef and look after this perfect little island. Not only do you feel at one with nature, you're also helping the environment by ensuring that the coral reef does not get damaged and it is protected....all of this on a six sum salary. I really do not think you could ask for more. I suppose that the only disadvantage to this job would be missing friends and family back home, but I'm sure that most people who have a passion for travelling and ... Read the complete review

HAVE YOU DREAMED TO APPLY FOR THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD? A job that provides the opportunity to care for the environment and at the same time having a luxurious living in an island, aside from the six-digits pay? To tell you the truth, I dreamed about it three months ago! This is because I am desperate to change my work environment at the moment. I started this research work 3 years ago and Im struggling to finish it. I don't have regrets of doing it, but as the time passes by, my focus and determination to complete it is totally diminishing which worries me sometimes. As early as of 2009, Im in the process of looking for possible job opportunities, hoping ... Read the complete review

This review is what I think is the best job in the world from personal experience in my life so far. Ive worked in retail, volunteering, bars, hotels and afterschool clubs. However the best one to date is working as a childrens rep abroad. The interview for my job was 4 hours long. We watched a presentation, then were put into groups to plan a days session like we would in the job. We got watched whilst we did this, we then had to present to the rest of the interviewees what the day would consist of. Then we had a personal interview, which was more like a chat of what experience you had, and that you knew what you were signing up for. You could also take ... Read the complete review
