I'll take you through the dangers (The Euro)

Disadvantages: economy would fall into tatters, loss of sovreignty, lose control of our own country

I will get straight to the point in this opinion. I am 100% commited against the Euro. I think it will be an absolute disaster if we join and I'm speaking as someone with my own business and 15 years of my own business behind me. Europe have done nothing but cost me a fortune with silly regulations and rules that make running your own business almost an impossible task. Because of European regulation I have just had to splash out £200 on some new scales that weigh in kg instead of pounds and ounces even though all my customers still quote in pounds and want to continue doing so.

The Euro would effectively pass all our economic rights onto Brussels. They would have the rights to set all things like our interest rates which would be a disaster because we are completely out of sync with the rest of Europe. Just think, when choosing who to vote for in a general election the economy is a major factor of your vote. So if Brussels are controlling our economy what are you going to base your vote on? Remember, the people controlling our economy would be unelectable so we couldn't boot them out when our country was turned into an economic disaster.

You also cannot forget the loss of our sovereignty. It is disgusting that Blair and this rubbish Labour government are trying to bounce us in. The Euro is a useless washed-up economy, so that's something that the Euro has in common with Blair and his useless colleagues in our government. If they win another term in office it will be a complete disaster for this country.
