I am very much for the European Union.

Britain should hurry up and join the Euro now. My main reason being, albeit completely selfish, is that a single currency would be sooo much easier. Something like 1.5million Britons holiday abroad now - do they not see how the Euro will make holidaying so much easier? As well as this - investors will find the Euro so much easier - as they will be able to buy Renault and Carrefour shares as easily as they can buy Tesco shares today.

As for losing the pound - why do people love it so much. I thought Britain was turning against their Monarchy - so why must they worry so much about not seeing the queen on their currency?

Hague seems us to want to turn away from Europe and become part of the US - can u imagine that. We all hate the yanks. We must join the Euro. And start getting some business back. Honda are worried that not joining the Euro will force them out of Britain - do we really need more job losses?
There really is no argument against joining the Euro, so start supporting it.
