My feeling on the EURO is this. Lets have a political debate were we deal with FACTS. I am sick of europhopes who want us out of Europe going on about how bad it is, and euro lovers who preach about the Euro.

I am FOR closer intregation with Europe. But for some people to say this whould dissolve all cultures in Europe are totally stupid. You would always have the differences between countries. The problem in England is that there is NO real culture. When you look at the French and the Scots, there are clear cultures that include all races and religions. In Britain, people are all ways split cause of their race, sexuality, religion etc.

Thats why I can't see how having closer connections with Europe means that we will lose our culture. Cause we don't have one!

If English culture is whether we use pounds instead of kilograms then that shows how pathetic this country is. Newspapers devote pages to "Save our pounds and ounces". The world must be laughing at us.
