Advantages: quite filling , easy peasy!!, cheap
Disadvantages: sometimes felt a bt peckish
I tried this diet because it sounded realy simple, easy to stick to and some of my friends had had good results. It was brilliant, a bowl of cereal with low fat milk for breakfast and lunch and then whatever you wanted for the other meal. In my first week I lost a total of 6lbs and a further 3 lbs the following week. Cornflakes are a bit boring on their own so I added a few coco pops in with mine for a bit more flavour!! I stayed on the diet for a while longer and the weight loss gets less but it is a good way of improving your eating habits and maintaining a more healtyhy diet. In ttal I lost just over half a stone and felt better in myself for doing it. I think anyone can stick to this as there is no calorie counting, weighing or measuring involved, it is really easy. This diet is also fairly cheap as you don't need any special diet foods - just any Kelloggs cereal. Although I thought this was excellent I felt a bit peckish at times when I first started this, but that feeling does go and if you are hungary you can always have fruit or the odd bit of chocolate for a treat!

- 16/05/01 I think this is a good opinion. What people are forgetting is.....ou never actually made up the diet, you just followed it and it worked for you. Well done, now maybe you can in to a good routine of healthy eating and maintain that weight loss! |

- 16/05/01 Sorry about the SU rating but I really don't think this is a good or sensible way to eat. You've obviously lost weight by using it but a diet should be more varied than this for good health. Also it would be easy to blow it all in the evening thinking "I've stuck to the diet all day" and have a cheeseburger and chips or pizza with all the extras! Good luck with it all anyway.... |

- 16/05/01 I agree with kingherrod on this one - I too try and eat a sensible diet.
I haven't heard of this one before but I suppose eating cereal twice a day and then a proper evening meal is okay:)''tinker |
