Who the hell do they think they are, yes I am talking about NHS cronies. They think they have some God given right to decide who lives and dies on a whim. How can they stand in judgement about not giving aid to those in need. I thought the hypocratic (sic) oath was to save life where possible, nowhere does it state that they will not give aid dependant of a persons genetics. To say that Downs people will not benefit is plain evil. I good friend of mine has downs and he is older than me. He also writes computer programes and leads a fulfilling role in the community. Now if he needed some major surgery would he be denied? I do hope not, he has paid all his dues and he cares for all those around him. If we found that people were denied operations due to their ethnic, social or age background the government would step in, quire rightly straight away. Do not let them get away with it. Craigs friend should not have to fork out this money the NHS is there for all of us. If they deny her who will be next?

I was going to quote some of the hypocratic oath but didn't want to make my own opinion too long.
