How to write really well sought after opinions is the questions on every dooyoosers lips. To get an elusive crown and achieve the heights of janharper of alkaliguru takes practise, and an 'English Degree' helps.

Use words that express your opinions to the full. Expressions is quantity look good and if your opinion is up to scratch, everyone will want to rad it.

Be able to write in length, and opinions that are over 300 words are considered readable here. I admit to not reaching this limit, yet I like to express my opinions to the full, even if that means recieving not useful ratings.

Make FRIENDS! Friends can help in writing reviews from ideas flying around. Get an idea, check whether you are able to write about it and if you can, then go ahead! Each opinion has its own characteristics, so strive forward!

Also, write opinions on paper when you are not online, and type them up. I find that indepth opinions come from when I am not online and when I am not worrying about how fast my internet connection is. Premier Opinions come from the heart, not staring into a screen.

Keep your opinions tasteful and energetic. Use adjectives to describe your opinion on the product the best you can, keeping in mind the people who read it and what sort of audience each opinion is likely to attract.

Advantages:

You'll be more likely to get that crown
More and more reads
You'll spend less time online

Disadvantages:

You might not think of opinions to write about - I have that problem

"and an English Degree helps" - sorry I have to disagree VERY strongly with that statement, English was one of my worst subjects at school, my essays generally got a C or below but I've managed to acheive 2 crowns so far. Gwen

And try to develop your own style, one that you are happy with. I don't think the point is to write to a high grammatical standard (so it dont' matter whevver u ave an english degree) although it helps.
The best thing is, as in life, just to be yourself!
