Advantages: Lets make change now., Get our oil from elsewhere., Make the Middle East a dessert like Africa
Disadvantages: Religion again.
With today’s horrific events in mind its probably no surprise that Great Britain and America are pretty much the course of this fundamentalism hatred. For years America has been demonizing Islam around the world and its no wonder they get annoyed. Bill Clinton is the main man responsible for this terrorist attack as he bomb them. Syria was rocketed for no particular reason, as were numerous other Middle Eastern targets. The UK arms trade were recently in the news for inviting African rebels opposed to their government to come and peruse with %25 off everything. If we are prepared to sell guns bombs and far worse to unstable regimes then its no wonder we are not popular. Our government had been selling munitions and planes to the Iraqi Empire during the Iran war. We were supporting one side then and today we support another. We pick and chose our enemies at political will disregarding most ordinary people. The ex-America president Bill Clinton’s home state of Arkansas actually has a facility that makes compounds for chemical weapons. America recently neglected plans to enforce a worldwide ban on these agents of death. Britain will sell weapons to anyone because if we don’t then someone else will. Theres tons of documentative evidence of this country selling weapons to unstable regimes. They tell us its because one in ten jobs in Britain depend on the trade directly, or indirectly. One scary fact is that the governments export credit guarantee, which is in a sense, taxpayers money used carefully to subsidize these weapons deals. If the third world dictator defaults on the deal because he’s dead or been over thrown then we pay the difference. The Arms trade of America and England is nearly a third of the World’s trade. You can see in New York and Washington that the world is not a stable place as government like it unstable to make serious money this way.
George Bush and Blair at the
helm doesn’t help at all. Apparently this is not the first time an attack has been planned like this. In 1997, 12 Boeing 747s were going to be hijacked in a similar operation from a similar source. Luckily it was thwarted in the knick of time. What worries me is that this is mirrored in Tom Clancys book when a 747 powers into The Whitehouse. His last book was about the build up of American China tension. Are the Islamic terrorist reading these books to rub salt into open wounds, or is Americas biggest selling author to close to reality with his scources. It was only eight years after The Falklands that British Arms companies were seeking out contracts to build up the fleet we sank. Arms are big business and America and Britain want to be at the head of the business of dead. Islamic terrorists unfortunately believe in heaven and Nirvana when they martyr. What their Gods may of made of this when they rock up to paradise dare not think. You can see in Northern Ireland that the underclass of the world are the main perpetrators of terror and hate. This attack should be a moment where we get together and say that we are nearing our destruction the way we are going. Blair has got to stop giving licenses to companies to sell cattle prods and riot suppresses to the unstable Philippines regime. These are used on the people as torture weapons and to defeat the people. We should stop selling weapons to African countries that clearly can’t afford them. We know what they are going to use them for and we allow them to. There are currently 18 civil wars in Africa at various stages of progression. Most of these countries have children running around with British and American rifles. Russian weapons to, capable of killing many are currently in the hands of 12-year-olds ready to kill. The world is an unstable mass of humanity and we do little to help the situation by selling and producing so many arms. Let’s just hope th
e Americans vengeance doesn’t accelerate Armageddon.

- 12/09/01 Good op - spot on. I hope the americans don't go psycho for revenge - in a way the modern world's lax attitude to arms dealing and helping the developing world's tensions has brought this on itself. |
