Advantages: We make serious money

Disadvantages: W eare part of the destruction of the third world that Sept 11 warned us of

Britain’s record abroad in selling arms is nothing short of despicable chaos. Their military excersize and excursions away from Blighty don’t bare any better in the UN bad book.
A cooperative group of Kenyan farmers are currently running a legal action against the British army there. They are seeking compensation for years of injury and death on MOD areas.

We have been using the old colony as a testing ground for mine clearing methods and munitions firing for over thirty years. But the Masia Mara tribesmen who work the land have a bloody good case, and were on for a win.
But the government in conjunction with our armed forces lawyers, are getting the case shifted away from the UK and into Kenyan courts. This shred move means the impoverished farmers with blown of limbs are no longer entitles to invaluable legal aid.
This should collapse their efforts and allow the army to continue littering the beautiful country with claymores and ammo for little kids and farmers to been blown apart by.

Over the years in the old Anglo African outpost, many people have lost limbs and their lives after coming into contact with these deadly munitions. Children pick them up as if they were toys, whilst local people are employed to clear them on a tenth of the money and training the Brits and Europeans are on.

This is an uncouth reminder of how this countries blaze armed forces still operate abroad, and why we still think we have an empire somewhere out there. But our real specialty is selling weapons and guns to the most unstable of regimes.
We will sell to the countries on the banned UN list any way we can. The supergun affair exposed how for the British government would go in the gray area to sell to dodgy companies and tyrannical bad guys.

Its well documented how the Brits and Americans with help from South Africa made every effort to arm Mad Sads regime through the late eighties and early nineties. Right up to the Gulf
War these guys were pouring in weapons against UN directives, the same directives that those countries now use to blow that country and its citizens apart.

Countries are rubbing their hands at the business likely to come from the collapse of Afghanistan. Its looking like the US and the coalition have their eyes on a long stay there with significant oil deposits sloshing around under the Caspian Sea.
This automatically destabilizes the region forcing surrounding countries to arm their self against possible incursions or civil war.

The Brits are desperate to secure that northern airbase at Masarashserif so they can begin the critical airlift. But this is also the zone of the beleaguered country where the oil lies just over the borders in the Russian republics.
It will be a critical airport in the coming months and years with even the Northern Alliance realizing that as they try to stop the C130s groaning in.

Oil aside, wars like these where the yanks cant lose also give them a chance to dump old bombs on soft targets.
The smart bombs are only used where foreign journalists have their expensive camera kit. The Balkans conflicts were a major dumping ground for out dated bombs with %90 used being unguided.
Even though the Americans kept showing us these smart bomb videos of direct hits.

Not only did they lie about their accuracy, they were also using the painful civil war to advertise their products.
Clinton was a surprisingly trigger happy democrat and prospered nicely from business contracts and diverting domestic sex scandals.
It was almost cringing to watch as he leveled somewhere with a cruise everytime he got his cock out.

The last five Republican presidents have all presided over wars in their presidencies. Bush junior is no exception to the rule as he caries on his daddies’ work. Pop has suggested that he finishes of some business in Iraq if he can find the time away from the golf course.

But with the baseball season over, we can expect a more hands on role from the less than intellectual leader of the three world..Aghh I forgot the gridiron season, ignore that.

The Philippines have long since been the pariahs of the far East for civil unrest, and the type of country you would think a fair country wouldn’t sell bombs to. But its no problem for New Labor as they quickly go back on there supposed ethical foreign policy agreement.
We have sold them water cannon, tasers, cattle prods, anything to keep down the people in their struggle for a democratic government, yes not nice is it.

But it doesn’t stop there, the Chinks need some serious crowd control gear to keep an eye on their billion wannabe capitalist. We have sold then billions of dollars of weapons lately, including gear on the banned list as they are a target for the missile defense program!.
It seems our enemies are often our friends who we love to arm. Maybe its better all-round if two countries agree to hate each other, then their leaders can take kick backs for weapon sales for anon existent conflict.

It stinks, but its business that supports %9 of British jobs. It’s one of those gray areas all ministers try to blind from you and me. But the bare facts are that we will sell weapons to anyone, even if we have to start conflicts to encourage business.Like I said, its not nice.
