please help prevent lots of innocent children being killed or maimed.or being made orphans. Please help prevent this war. Please do not stand back and do nothing.

This week We can all swamp Tony Blair with letters messages that we do not want war that we feel their must be other solutions to killing many innocent people. yes innocent people will be the first to pay the price not Saddam Hussain. At the very least we must not go in with out the support of the U.N.

Write a letter everyday to Tony Blair this week along with myself and numerous others and try and convince Tony Blair by numbers of letters/carsd That a war is unnacceptable to us. Please please pleas unite witrh me and at least make your voice heard
I could not live with myself if at least I DID THIS TO STOP THIS WAR.

just to reassure you it is not that I support Saddam Hussien But that I think war is the wrong way ahead.
Write to Tony at 10 Downing strret Westminster London sw1
Saying you dissagree with war and that he will lose your vote in any election, Pleasse please let not this war begin Thanks for reading and writing

I marched along with thousands of other like minded people a mixture of all ages I saw old people, one old man with his walking stick middle alged people, younger adults , teenagers not so many children but a few and a couple of babes in arms people from all walks of life. Got to gower street nr Euston at 11.45 march moved of we started walking about 1/4 to 1 I think had a good time watching others we joined in the shouts a wave of noise ,it took about 5 mind for it to pass back to us .
At one stage we walked with Sheffield (Salsa?) band enjoying the music the beat from thier drums with the tamborines and shakers. they wre accesorised in a fluerescent yellowy green
We then walked along with some guy pulling a sound system plaking music . I t was a happy smily crowd lots of sounds an

d a few fairies a man in a wheelchair and one with those long bendy ballons lots of banners the onbe I smiled at blair with a tea cup on his head a gun in his hand , The slogan Make tea not war .Many many other banners
We eventually got to Hyde park at 5 .10 many people still behind us All the speaches had finished . So we went and sat by the river and Had a cup of tea from my flask and a shortbread biscuit before setting of homewards.Tired legs aching , but satisfied that at least I made my point stood up to be counted

Lets just hope the goverment listen to us and do not join in a war Lets hope a peacefull solution is found
Woke up early So got up so not to disturb husband who moaned and rolled other Maybe I shall regret getting up so early later but I couldnt sleep so wrote a report of my march in london , Other peoples may have been different.but this was mine.

If you agree we should not go to war think we should not join America in killing lots of citizens of Iraq and could nott get to march, why not write a letter to Tony Blair?

Unsure what to say?

Why not write something similar to this I wrote

Dear MR Blair
I am opposed to the Bush Administration?s war with the Iraqi people, which is aimed at furthering the US power base in the world today.
Please acknowledge receipt of my letter

Yours Sincerely,?????

If we swamp him with letters he must take notice.(I have a v

alentines cardIsent)

Information about this demo I gathered from http:// www.perteredington.com/VoteNoWar.htm

Futher info on march fromhttp:www.stopwar.org.uk

I believe in trying to stop war by peaceful demonstration. I do not believe in violence

I have been on peace marches before with CND Taken Sleepy Dormouse with me she was about 7/8 or so encountered no problems use your eyes and ears keep away from problem areas
.I have not been active for several years but this is something where I feel I must make my voice heard

Although not stayed at Greenham common I used to do food runs with my local group to help substain the protesters there.
United we stand divided we fall unite against this war .

Best wishes, Stay safe ???Mary

You say you are anti-war and that innocent people will die however you also say "At the very least we must not go in with out the support of the U.N. ". Does this mean that war, and ultimately the death of innocent people, is ok if the UN says it is ok? You can't have it both ways, either you are totally against the war AT ALL COSTS (even UN approval) or you support it. This is one of the major reasons why no-one ever listens to anti-war groups - they have no solid argument.
I am not a pro-war campaigner, I am actually neutral on this as I can see a case for both sides, but the anti-war side is wasting it's time unless it can come up with a solid argument
