Advantages: new face may work
Disadvantages: it might not
So Kevin the messiah (as the press called him) has bottled it again. there's a shock. The question is who's next for England. The paper's say bring back Venables. Why?. Since being England manager he's been at Crystal Palace and Australia, did rubbish at both, so what makes people so sure that he's going to be any better this time round. Surely it's time to give some-one new a chance. That then brings the question who should it be? Bryan Robson, not done enough with Middlesborough yet to deem an option. Peter Reid, has done well with Sunderland, but still a few years off contention for this position. Alex Ferguson, Scottish, for me an England manager should be English. The only person for me has got to be Peter Taylor, who did brilliantly with the youth team until being sacked by the FA. Why, nobody knows. He did the same with Gillingham, and now he's doing even better with Leicester. Instead of a big name they should see if he can do the same with the senior squad. Give him a go he can't do any worse than them that have gone before.
