The Worst Job in England?

Rating:

Advantages: Top football management job

Disadvantages: Media can be cruel

How anyone can say that the England football manager's job is the worst job in England is beyond me - it is not even the worst job in football.
Most managers never get the chance to manage their country but it is their main aim in football management, just as captaining their country is most players ambition.
If this is the worst job in England, then why is it only Kevin Keegan who has resigned out of the last 5 England managers, dating back to Bobby Robson? Why are managers so ready to leave their clubs for the chance to manage England if it is such a bad job?
I can think of a lot of worse jobs than this and they all get poorly paid. The only negative point about the job is the media criticism. The England football managers job is the pinnacle of English football management, and for football orientated people it is by far the best job in England.

I agree with you ... Just because the England team isn't exactly highley rated at the moment, doesn't mean it's a bad job.
I think that Taylor's a good choice for caretaker manager, but i don't thing Errikson should be manager, not because he's foreign though, because i feel we should have hoddle back. He did great with Chelsea, England and he's doing OK with S'hampton.
