I don't regret taking Theatre Studies though, it only enhanced my love of the theatre and when I go to see plays now, I notice a lot more than I would otherwise. Well done for reading so far! What a cop out! That's not a "real" subject! In my day, we did proper studying! Well read my op to find out about this interesting and flexible subject. I did Theatre Studies from 1998-2000 at college in Birmingham. Not many schools offer Theatre Studies as they prefer to keep to traditional subjects, so if you are interested in taking it, have a look around the colleges as they offer much more choice. It goes well with English as several of the ideas overlap, but it goes equally well with other arts subjects, or even science if you prefer. You don't need to have done GCSE Drama in order to take Theatre Studies A Level, but it can help. I did ...
