I've read a couple of these reviews, and what a good idea they are- something everyone on here should do when they are feeling a bit down, so heres the things that makes me happiest.

* My friends.
''Friends are the family we choose for ourselves'', that has to be one of my favourite sayings, as I think it is just so true. I can't go for longer than a few days without seeing my best friends, and no matter what we do together- just sitting around watching rubbish on the telly, having a night out on the town or going for a girly day shopping, spending time with them always brings a smile to my face.

* Going home to America.
As some of you may already know, I'm originally from New York, and I moved to England just over 10 years ago now. I love it here, and I'm most certainly here to stay but there is nothing quite like going home to New York for the holidays, to see my family and all my old friends. The 8 hour flight over there always seems like a lifetime, me sat there with a smile as wide as my face the whole journey knowing the welcome I'm going to get at the airport the other side.

* My dogs
Of course I love all my animals, but as I've said before, my three dogs really are something extremely special. Walking in the countryside with them, watching their tails wag nineteen to the dozen as they splash about in the streams and charge up and down the fields just warms my heart. No matter what problems I may be having in my life, a couple of hours walking in the middle of no where with just my three dogs for company, makes everything feel instantly better. Ruby, Benson & Grace- I love you ;)

* Christmas
Ever since I was a child, Christmas has been such a happy occasion. The real tree, home cooked dinner and spending time with the people I love the most, all getting on and having a lovely time together. Even now, I always look forward to Christmas as it means going back home to America seeing all the family, and is the only time of the year that we are all together.

* My fiancé
I've certainly had to kiss a few frogs but I've found my prince now!
Jason, love you, and can't wait to marry you next year.

* My cottage
It couldn't be further away from my life growing up in Manhattan and I love it! My little ''chocolate box'' cottage in the rural countryside, with enough space for all the animals I could ever wish to keep. Wouldn't swap it for the world.

* Photographs
I have boxes full of them, and the back of my bedroom door is just covered in them! From my childhood, to my year spent travelling, and pictures of my friends and family- I love them all. Especially the ones which you look at and think ''what on earth was I doing there!''.

* Getting ID'ed
I know its random, but I'm 27 now and getting asked for ID when buying alcohol just makes my day! I know they have to ask, but theres just that little bit of me that would rather believe the reason is because I still look young. And I come out the shop smiling like a loon.

* Waking up and realising I can go back to bed
I have to get up at 5am everyday- a miniature zoo of pets need their breakfast, stables that need mucking out and dogs that need walking! But on the days Jason isn't working he'll get up and do them for me, with means if I don't have work aswell, I can shut the damn alarm clock up and go back to sleep for another couple of hours at least- yes, 7am is a lie in for me!

* Random acts of kindness
Manners are free after all. Holding the door open for the person behind me, helping a mother down steps with her buggy, just giving up my seat on the bus for an older passenger or just smiling at people you walk past.
Its makes me smile, and it makes them smile.

* Payday
Enough said.

Well I'm sat here with a smile on my face now, I think this is something we all should do!

I'm 27 too and got ID'd over Christmas in a pub. I've never been happier! xx
