Advantages: It makes you live longer (so they say)

Disadvantages: You can't be happy all the time....

This is a difficult one, as there are so many things that make me happy. Life is short and needs to be enjoyed whenever and wherever possible.

My four boys, yes I'm the very proud Mum of four boys, bring me much happiness. They are a challenge and having so much testosterone in the house is baffling. I am the only female and at times my life seems extreme. However, my boys have always got a hug for me, and are not afraid to share their emotions with their Mum. Each one is so unique and special, they bring continuous moments of joy.

Watching my sons grow up, although this hurts as time is aging, I love seeing them develop into little people and try new things. We recently bought a speed boat, and seeing them learn to water ski and go tubing is fantastic.

I really enjoy being in the water. Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking are wonderful. To be on or in the ocean, experiencing the tropical water life. I have been lucky enough to watch dolphins swim by whilst sitting on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean.

Sitting on the beach, watching the sun set, with an evening picnic, alongside great friends or family.

Relaxing at home with my favourite people, either having a barbeque, listening to good music, or watching a great film.

I love the rain...... Strange, but where I live it hardly ever rains, so when it does, it is such a relief and makes me very happy!

Animals are a must in my house. Two dogs, two cats, two tortoises, three guinea pigs, a rabbit, two terrapins and some fish! Pets bring loads of pleasure, and teaches the kids to appreciate animals.

Going on safari and watching the animals in their natural habitat. To see giraffes, elephants and lions roaming the African plain is so special, especially as they may not be here in the future.

Watching other people having a good time makes me smile. To see people laughing and enjoying themselves makes others happy.

Things that make me chuckle...... anything witty!

A really good book, and not wanting it to finish. Finding time to sit and quietly enjoy those last few pages. Then having time to sit and recap.

Having flutters in your heart, over romance, new situations or receiving an unexpected gift.

And lastly chocolate................. Any kind (but dark is my favourite!).
