There are loads of things that make me smile so I've only mentioned a few things that have happened recently that brought a grin to my face.

Sitting in the cinema with my boyfriend watching a rom-com (such as the proposal) with a cherry bakewell flavoured milkshake and a chicken wrap makes me feel happy.
It might sound a bit silly but the darkness of the cinema and the nice food and drink are a great combination for happiness, and being with my boyfriend is always fun.

I feel happy after I've accomplished something like finishing a book or reaching the end of my exams, it's that nice relaxing feeling and the prospect of new challenges (i.e a new book or college) that fills me with anticipation and almost euphoria.

I like being out with my friends especially when we go for coffee and cake and talk about the recent events that we've missed in each others lives such as one of my friends having to drive to mallorca because her ear infection prevented plane travel. Catching up in person is much nicer than a text or phone call every now and then.

That sweet smell of nail varnish. And i don't mean that in a "I sniff solvents" sort of way but the pear drop scent most nail varnishes give off.

Packing to go away on holiday. I'm not really sure why this makes me happy, it could be because of the excitement at using the new products I've bought especially for this trip or the annual wearing of shorts thats yet to come.

Shopping, I bet I'm not alone in thinking that shopping can bring some smiles! I know it might sound a bit stupid but I dont think its the spending money that brings happiness its the excitement of new things or even to give. Thats also the reason I like christmas.

I agree with other review-ers that have said we make our own happiness because indulging in the things we like every now and then is a great way to stay happy and motivated.

Summary: turn that frown upside down!
