Things to do while home alone for the night!

It's not very often that I get the house to myself as a student, however, when I do it's a bit of a luxury and I do enjoy it. The evening usually starts with a nice meal, as I'm actually able to get into the kitchen and spend more than ten minutes cooking my dinner before somebody else wants to use the oven/hob/get in my way! I'll crack open a bottle of chilled wine and make something tasty for myself, probably whilst listening to my favourite new iTunes playlist on top volume and dancing around a bit in my slippers! Being a wife and busy mum of two, I spend most of my evenings at home. However to spend an evening on my own at home, is a delightful treat. That I look forward to and relish every second of. These nights of sheer peace though, are as rare as rocking horse poop. But nights in alone offer the ultimate promise. Now it's not very often that I get a night in on my own, so when I do I really enjoy it. My wife and I rarely go out and when we do it's normally together, but occasionally she will have a girly night with her friends where they meet round one of their houses and have a good catch up. So your home alone, your partner's out, what do you do, i'm not talking a few hours while they work late, I mean a whole evening to yourself. Well I vary it really it can be incredibly boring watching sport, reading or listening to music, or if i'm feeling more adventurous, i'll get a cookbook out, buy some exotic ingredients and experiement in the kitchen, i'll buy a nice bottle of wine and eat and drink like a king.
