Advantages: A chance to relax and enjoy your own company

Disadvantages: Nobody to talk to

So your home alone, your partner's out, what do you do, i'm not talking a few hours while they work late, I mean a whole evening to yourself. Well I vary it really it can be incredibly boring watching sport, reading or listening to music, or if i'm feeling more adventurous, i'll get a cookbook out, buy some exotic ingredients and experiement in the kitchen, i'll buy a nice bottle of wine and eat and drink like a king.

The last time I was home alone, I got the Xbox 360 out, played Fifa 09, used some wonderful German Jumbo Frankfurters and had some fantastic hot dogs, with Cusquena beer and home made chips, it was a lovely evening for me enjoying some basic but wonderful pleasures.


I make sure I have something good to watch, a decent film or an old comedy DVD that really makes me laugh and i'm set up.

I think its lovely having company but occasionally it can be really nice to have the house to yourself, chill out in pyjama's, have a lovely hot bath, a few drinks, a nice meal and do a few of your favourite things, whether that be reading, surfing the net, exercising, dancing, listening to music, those are a few of my favourite things to do when home alone, in fact just thinking about it, i'm going to plan my meal for the next home alone evening now!
