The best thing that I have found to make xmas even more easy is to plan all year round.

yes I am one of the sads that start buying next years birthdays and Xmas presents in the sales. The first time that you do it feels a little strange. And also you need the money to start with.

One way to do this is to use the vouchers that you had as presents. yes I know that you are suppose to spend them on your self. but no one will know unless you tell them. It also means the presents are half price and you get more for you money. Smellies will last years if never opened.

I keep a big box under my bed. And everytime that I get a freebie I put it in the box. Also when you see a present during the year buy it. The box does not take up much room.And it saves me a lot of hassle. I have nearly all my presents apart from the bottles of wine and the boxes of sweets. Which I will buy in the next few weeks.

Also my husband and I have set a £20 limit to spend on each other. We have all that we want (and no we are not rich but we just do not crave all the little toys that every one else seems to. Shock horror. I must be the only person in the world that does not have a mobile phone;>)

Also another way to save hassle and money is tell the whole family that you are only going to buy for the children.(that is what I thought Xmas w about.) It saves money. The hassle of finding and buying the presents and the false smiles on Xmas morning when you thank gran for the purple sweater that she bought for you.
