If I had 5p for every non-member that read my opinion I'd be a very rich Andrew_cake . So rich that I could sit at home all day on dooyoo and never go out to 'proper' work and I could holiday in exotic places

No I'm still not rich no matter how long I work or how long I spend on DooYoo .

Perhaps we should all write opinions on why people should join then all this 0p non-member readers could turn into 5p member reads .

Ok I'm not doing it for the money , otherwise why would I spend a free afternoon on an op for 10p - Yes thats right so all the non-members can read it .

It does annoy me slightly that for my op on swim nappies only 8 members had voted for it and over 50 non-members had read it .

I feel we need to DOO more advertising via ops to encourage these timid non-members to join .I heard of DOOYOO via friends not advertisements .

WOW I feel kinda great that this section was thought up and suggested by me !!!!

This thought had been spinning around in my head for a while and yesterday I decided to put in down on paper , well typed onto my screeen anyway !!!

One suggestion I've had is that when you've written an opinion on something that you think will apply to non-members. Address a little note at the bottom of the opinion encouraging them to become members , who can not only read the op , but give their opinion on it by rating it .

Other people have already suggested a little pop up box which invites them to join if they have spent a certain length of time on Dooyoo . Also the benefits and advantages could be publisised more to encourage people to join .

Another idea of mine ( cricky - two in two days I'm on a roll !!! )is to have a litt
le section of quotes on the front page about what the members think of Dooyoo . Like "Dooyoo - the family of knowledge " or something equally as corney !!! I fell this type of thing will encourage new members .

If your a non-member sign up and tell us how you thing we could encourage non-members to take the plunge and join !!!

Just logged on and up popped a little box asking me if i'd like a tour and FAQ's - the actions therefore have been taken to covert non-members to members .

It's a pity the box only senses none members as it might become quite annoying if it happens each time as I'll have to delete it .
Oh well we can't have everything !!! I'd rather a pop up box then have 1:10 ratio of members:non-member reads !!!!
