Advantages: I never get bored of any of these
Disadvantages: None for me!
Oh god...where to start? Im very eclectic when it comes to music and it really depends on what kind of mood im in to what i listen to. Time to have a flick through my I tunes and make 10 out of everything so be ready for a varied list. Bare in mind these arent in any kind of order, i cant pick 1 absolute favourite.
1. Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous Girl. This one was one of my favourites from summer 07. I was on a working holiday in Canada and my room mate listened to country. There's only so much of that i can handle in the car, especially when we travelled places for an hour or more. Finally he let me make a mix CD for the car but he only seemed to play about 6 songs from it (He didnt like any of the others) but this is the one he played A LOT! I still never get bored of it.
2. Jimmy Eat World - May angels bring you in. This song is from one of my favourite tv shows, One Tree Hill. The scene this is from made me cry so much and since i heard it its had a permenant place on my ipod. Although its a sad song, the lyrics are so beautiful.
3. Kanye West - Gold digga. Kanye West and Jamie Foxx make a great duo. I cant get ready for a night out without this song. It never fails to put me in a good mood.
4. Debussy - Clair de lune. I first heard this in 2008 on the Twilight movie and not normally my kind of thing but i would never say no to trying new music. I could listen to this over and over again and not get bored of it. I think this one is my ultimate chill out song. Its so peaceful and romantic.
5. Beverly Knight - Get up. I went to see Take That with my sister a couple of years ago on their comeback tour where Beverly Knight and Sugababes were supporting. Beverly Knight was fantastic and i would have paid to go see her alone. I knew a couple of her older songs but after downloading her greatest hits, this is the one i listen to a lot. It doesnt really fit a 'mood' but i love it anyways.
6. Jamelia - Beware of the dog. I tend to find a lot of my favourite songs come from films or tv shows. Ones that tend not to get released but they probably should have done. Beware of the dog is from the 2008 film 'Make it happen'. I love any kind of dance films because they tend to have superb sountracks. This one didnt dissapoint me. I love listening to this one before going out.
7. Leona Lewis - Take a bow. Every girl normally has a song in her top 10 about heartbreak and this one is mine. Quite up tempo for this kind of song. Its about a girl who's given her all in a relationship and the guy has basically taken everything away from her and not been truthful with her. Many girls have had a relationship that have ended with them feeling this way.
8. Stereophonics - The bartender and the thief. This is my angry mood song. From the released singles by the stereophonics, nothing is like this one. Put it on full blast and get everything out of your system!
9. Sarah Whatmore - When i lost you. This one makes me really sad. Its a song that meant a lot during a past relationship and it took me a while to be able to listen to it without crying but the lyrics mean a lot to me. Even though it makes me sad, its still one of my faves.
10. Bob Sinclair - Rock this party. Most people will know this song from George Sampson's audition from Britain's Got Talent. It took me ages to find this because its normally remixed in with all sorts of other things. I cant go out for the night without listening to this one, it never fails to get me on the dance floor.
So there we have it, my top 10 singles. Took me a lot longer to write than i thought it would, but its so hard just picking 10!
Summary: Top 10 singles...until i change my mood
