How many people have five pets?

Answer: very small percentage.

I want to add my opinion to this topic.

For any pet loving person choice of top pets is from past experience. It is what your friends have or your parents have that takes your liking too.

In my case I like fish the most. Choice of fish pets is vast and I am not fussy.

Fish is a gentle pet, swimming in a contained tank every single hour of the day. Fish is cheap as well. Cleaning once every month or so and buying food for the fish is not expensive, no vets costs either.

Given the choice I would like a dog in my house too. A dog is a good companion, take it walkies in the park, play with it. Dog is expensive to keep. It is like people when it gets ill I will have to take it to vets.

Rabbit is a good option too. Sadly it doesn't do much and it has to be kept outdoors.

No birds or cats for me, birds are too noisy, cats are bloody selfish.

Last two pets that I would like to keep is my girlfriend and my car. I treat both as pets. So they may as well join the list.
