I was never alowed any animals growing up, at one stage I was alowed a goldfish at one stage, but it went moldy as a reslt of my mother's obsessive cleaning out of the bowl.
I now have my own place and have four different species of pets.

My favourite type of pet is my dog, beau. He is a 2 year old male border collie. He's always there with me and is my best friend. I wake up and because I have him, I have to walk him. We go fow long walks across from the beach, a perfect start to the day in any weather. As I'm so lazy I woudn't do it otherwise. Same with last thing. I love walking but hae walking alone, with him I never am. We go for huge long walks everywhere in the most beatiful places. He's a crazy collie and his antics and facial expressions have me laughing to myself. Even when I'm down. We go training twice a week, and not only is it fun, and another hobby, but it also get me out of the house so I can meet other people. He's there when I get in from work, when I wake up, when I go to sleep, he's always there and always pleased to see me. I coudnt think of anything nicer!
To me no other pet compares to the loyalty of a dog!

I also have 2 cats, 4 rabbits and 11 hamsters and I love them all for there individal traits, the kitten is lovely as he is also very dependent, but I am very aware that when he grows up, he will be like my cat. Very independednt and coming to me at their leisure and when they are hungry of course.
