Top 10 Childrens Programmes

Now this is something I can really enjoy writing, I love childrens programmes, from back in the day, all the way through to now.
Shame I have no children to watch them with really...

10, Byker Grove - Gritty drama set in Newcastle, following the trials and tribulations of the kids that go to Byker Grove after school. I watched it back in the day with PJ and Duncan, and Geoff was the owner, I loved it!

9, The Demon Headmaster - Based on the best selling book this follows the lives of school children whos headmaster hypnotises them into being perfect and proper. There are a group of tearaways, who know whats going on and this follows them.

8, Saved by the Bell - A classic, American show set in the 80's, following the lives of Zack, Kelly, Jessie, Lisa, Slater and Screech, this never failed to make me laugh

7, Penny Crayon - Her drawings came to life, you cant get much better than that ;) I loved her, and the theme tune, I wanted to BE penny crayon

6, Popeye - He's popeye the sailor man! Made me want to eat spinach and be big and strong, and also spent a lot of time rewriting the theme when we were at school

5, Thundercats - I spent many a day playing this in the playground and I think its just as amazing today as it was then.

4, Denver the last Dinosaur - I must admit I probably fell in love with this for the theme tune more than anything else, but I loved it

3, Power Rangers - Now I must admit I'm a sucker for the original, I remember when we used to spend our days debating which colour power ranger wed be, I was Kimberly - the pink one!!

2, Scooby Doo - Another classic, spending my time trying to figure out who was behind the ghouly goings on, wherever they were

1, Dungeons and Dragons - My ultimate favourite, I LOVED the fantasy behind this story, I wanted to be taken into their world to fight the monsters with the Dungeon Masters help. I just wish he could of helped them get home

Summary: a real trip down memory lane

small bit of D&D trivia you may not know.
in the final show that they never shot you actually find out that Venger (the bad guy) is Dungeon Masters son!

You're obviously younger than me - I don't know all of these!
