Advantages: Tv has seen some hits that never will be forgotten
Disadvantages: Children's TV can also show some rubbish.
In my lifetime i have seen loads of different styles of children's TV and have not one exceptionally favourite programme. Recently I designed a short quiz of oldies from childhood. At least it began with only 10, then it climbed to 50 then it went to 100 questions and the list could go on and on and on.... Any way talking of old children's programmes off the Tv screen tends to make memories come back of embarrassments or laughter --good for cold winter blackouts. Here is a short list of 10 of my utmost faves see if you agree if not e-mail me. 1. Andy pandy (Ted and Looby Lou are sadly missed unless you buy Watch with Mother video) 2. Camberwick Green (can you remember the firemen?) 3. The Herbs (Dill, Rosemary and Thyme - all great for cooking) 4. Rainbow (having 2 chatterboxes of sons why can't they have a mouth like Zippy) 5. Rupert (his tailor must have been colour blind) 6. Ivor The Engine ( Trains at their best) 7. Metal Mickey ( a robot everyone used to imitate and wish they could have) 8. Crackerjack ( cabbages or pens/pencils they made us laugh) 9. Jackanory ( he best way of reading a story while also preparing the tea) 10. Art Attack ( a brilliant programme that gives every child or adult a chance to produce a masterpiece) Do you agree?
