Advantages: All delicious

Disadvantages: Fattening!

Chocolate is one of my many downfalls and I am sure I have sampled most of the chocolates that exist in their various forms and varieties. It is quite interesting to try and figure out which are my top ten!

Here goes then...

**Cadbury's Easter Egg**

My favourite form in which to eat chocolate is the Easter Egg. No particular one comes to mind, except maybe, Cadburys. I just love the shape of the egg and either biting into the curved nature of the chocolate or breaking off a piece of the chocolate. The curviness of the chocolate is very appealing to me. I like both the thick eggs and the thinner ones. However, I think I prefer the thinner ones on the whole.

**Kit Kat**

Kit Kat definitely has a place in my top ten. It has always been one of my favourite chocolate bars / snacks. I think it is the taste and texture of the delicious chocolate coated wafer biscuits that I like. I also like the way that you break off each finger - well that is the way I usually eat them. Occasionally I have come across a solid chocolate finger which is just yummy!!

**Snickers**

Snickers also features quite high up in my list of favourites. I just love the combination of the chocolates, caramel and peanuts. I think it is a very satisfying bar that really fills me up.

**Twix**

Another favourite of mine is Twix. Once again I just love the delicious combination of chocolate caramel and biscuit. Like Snickers, I find the tWix very satisfying but can often eat more than one at a 'sitting'!!

**Thornton's Continental Chocolates**

Thornton's Chocolates must be a hit in any chocoholics top ten. There is something just deliciously decadent about Thornton's chocolates. The chocolate has a very distinctive creaminess about it. They are very moreish and also quite sickly if eaten in large quantities! My favourite, I think, is the Alpini.

**Paynes' Chocolate Covered Brazil Nuts**

Every year my dad always gets me a box of chocolate covered Brazils - usually the Payne's variety. I have had a box of Chocolate Covered Brazils ever since I can remember. I just love the large crunchiness of the brazil nut combined with the thin coating of chocolate which always seems very different from any other sort of chocolate around.

So , here I am at the seventh......only 3 more to go. It's a difficult decision to narrow down all the chocolates I like to just 3 more so I will have to think very carefully about the last 3 which deserve a place in my top ten.

**Bounty**

Right, in seventh place is 'Bounty' - the taste of Paradise. I like bounty because I love the moist coconut filling. There is no other chocolate bar that I know of that contains coconut in such large quantities.

**Terry's Chocolate Orange**

Terry's Chocolate Orange is another firm favourite of mine. I love the shape of the chocolate - the segments. I love the deliciously wicked orange taste. It is very definitley a filling and satisfying choco feast!

**Maltesers**

And so to my last. Which is it going to be? I think it has to be Maltesers. I love these hollow balls of chocolate. I love biting into the crispy honeycombed middle and can eat a whole box in one sitting. The only downside to the Maltesers is they can 'clog up' your teeth.

So there you have it - my top ten chocolates. What's yours?

Summary: A difficult task to keep it to just ten.

I hate milk chocolate! I love Dark Kit Kats though.
