Advantages: gorgeous!!

Disadvantages: fattening!!

I am a self confessed chocoholic (or is it chocophile? LOL!), I love chocolate, I would live on it if I could, I eat it everyday!! Just doing this review is making me wants some!
The word chocolate derives from Aztec Mexico and comes from the Nahault word xocolatl, this is a combination of the words, xocolli, meaning "bitter", and atl, which means "water" and was associated with the Goddess of fertility, Xochiquetzal. Its also been speculated that it could be an afrodisiac! ;)
How cool is that!!!
My top ten favourite chocolates are:
1. Cadbury's fruit and nut- I love the texture of this chocolate, biting into it and not knowing wether i'll get nuts ( ahem) or fruit is fantastic! I also love chocolate cover raisans and chocolate covered nuts so having the combination in one bar is almost to hot to handle! The pleasurable taste and melt in your mouth loveliness means its perfect for just sitting in front of a movie or eating in the bath with a nice glass of Rosé. A 49 g bar of this scrumscious treat is 240 calories, with 12 grams of fat which means its not exactly one for the dieters manual!

2. Toblerone (original obviously)- This trianglular shaped swiss chocolate containing honey and almond nougat is definitely a must buy! The sweet taste of the honey mixed with the texture and taste of the almonds gives it a moreish quality. The almonds add texture to the dimensions that the triangular shape have given it and in a way the two qualities are complimentary to each other and give it an edgy crunch. The chcolate comes in a long triangular package and the bar inside is split into almost pyrimidal segments which look like the swiss alps. In a 100 gram bar of the fruit and nut Toblerone, there are 495 calories and 25.5 grams of fat, oh and guess what? they may contain nuts ;)

3. Milky Bar- I love the creamy, smoothness of milky bar and love to just let it slip around my mouth until it melts mmmm. I love the sweetness of the taste and unlike milk chocolate it doesn't have a cocoa-ish taste to it, it tastes more like whipped cream. Per 100g's you'll find there to be 546 kcal and 31.6g of fat.

4. Dairy Milk- I love the unique taste of cadbury's, these nothing like it! so milky and smooth, heavenly even. I love cadbury's more than galxy because dairy milk melts in your mouth easier and tastes alot milkier. based on having 40 g's of the chocolate here is about 220kcal.

5. Galaxy- per 100g there is 542kcal and 31.6g of fat, Galaxy is a heavenly silky smooth bar of chocolate that lasts longer than dairy milk and when you bite into it, its softer. I love the taste of this because it reminds me of good Jane Austin, its soft and dainty when you get into it, it takes a while to get through and theres a happy ending (I eat it ;) ).

6. Double Decker- this bar really is 'crispy, crunchy, chewy and nutty', I love the textures mixed together, the soft ad the hard bits add contrast and as its covered in cadburys chocolate, the smoothness is escalated. The 60g bar contains 275 kcal and 11.3g of fat.

7. Flake- I love biting into this, but I always make a mess, hence why its not first, and its great for having in your icecream or decorating cakes with. These remind me of my grandad because when he came to live with us before he moved to cyprus, he used to buy a flake and we'd sit down and share it and it would be our little thing. Per 32g bar expect there to be 170 kcal and 8g of fat.

8. Mars delight- With its unique combination of crisp, rippled wafer and soft caramel cream, all wrapped in smooth milk chocolate, its abit like a bueno except less hazlenut like in flavour, the strongest taste being the caramel.

9. Yorkie- despite being 'not for girls' I take a bit of time to embrace masculinity for a while ;). Its very thick chocolate which is a bit of a gob filler and is most easier to get through when being nibbled. To be honest, it does taste like every other nestle chocolate bar however, its just pure uninterupted chocolate. For every 24g expect, 121 kcal and 6.2g of fat

10. Crunchie- Its basically honeycomb slabs wrapped in dairy milk chocolate and tastes sweet with a crunchy feel to it. I love these bars because again, its one of my grandads favourites and it tastes caramelly. The thousands of air bubbles means it melts in the mouth.

Summary: despite the calories, I'd live on it if I could!
