Advantages: So many to choose
Disadvantages: none
These are my top ten science fiction shows, which you can watch at the moment on various channels. Gotta love those repeats.
1) Battlestar Galactica - the new version, it rocks. I love the fact that Starbuck is female but still pulls no punches. Love that it reflects how we are now, and the faults of being human.
2) Stargate SG1- the original stargate show, I love watching the repeats and wish it could comeback.
3) Stargate Atlantis- All hail the McKay. Rodney McKay is a brilliant character and for me really makes the show. Sad that's it's finishing after this season.
4) Firefly- Joss Whedon's western in space. Tongue in cheek fun. (loved the movie too.)
5) Threshold- cancelled halfway through its first season, which was very disappointing. An excellent show, very different from anything else I've seen before.
6) Doctor Who- loved it as a child, and love it now it's back. David Tennant is very watchable.
7) Terminator-The Sarah Connor Chronicles- I've dedicated a separate review for this, totally brill.
8) Heroes- getting better and better, who's good? who's bad? Who's cares! season 3 is a winner.
9) Star Trek TNG: Looking a bit dated now, but still love Jean-Luc Picard.
10) Star Trek Voyager: A Female captain and holographic doctor with no bedside manner. I loved this series so much I collected all the episodes on video.
Summary: Love sci-fi- my top ten
