Disadvantages: A bit biased!

Here goes with the second "review"!!

I decided to do My Top Ten songs, because my boyfriend keeps pestering to do another review... so i though id steal his idea!!! Ah well!!!
Iv had many influential moments in my life, so this shouldn't be too difficult :)

*10* Christina Aguilera - The Voice Within
Not to sound too emo, but there was a time, when I was about 16, where i, for one reason or another, was finding life extremely difficult; and when this song was released it's lyrics touched me like no other song has done. With a clear and concise message, it told me to trust myself, and my own judgement in what ever i do; and since then, if i've found anything difficult, i smack on this song, and it has a feel good factor :) I personally think that Christina Aguilera is a wonderful songwriter, and this song proves that.

*9* Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenaworth - For Good (From Wicked The Musical)
This songs perfectly sums up a close friendship, which is being torn apart by forces that are unstoppable. It has played particular importence in my life when people have passed away in my life, and when friends and I have parted company. A fabulous song which can help alot of pople through .

*8* Paulo Nutini - New Shoes
I honestly have no particular reaon fo this song being in my top ten, apart from the fact it has the ability to make me smile.... alot. Its got a really upbeat tempo, and a fabulously catchy tune, which i can guarantee you won't be able to get out of your head!!

*7* Slipknot - Wait and Bleed
This was the first song i ever went into a Moshpit to! What a mistake that was. The song is woderful, as with alot of Slipknot songs, it doesn't fail to please. Fabulous, meaningful lyrics coupled with a wonderful melody, and great vocals, make for an amazing song.

*6* John McClaughlin - So Close
An absolutely beautiful song, which means alot to me on many different levels. Main one being that this song is from Enchanted (the film) which was the first "girly" flick me and my boyfriend went to see, and he loved it!!!!! Its a very soppy song with typical "musical" lyrics, but a very differet melody, which resembles that of early James Blunt. Beautiful.

*5* The Ataris - San Daminas High School Football Rules
This is on here simply because it was the first time i shared a song with somebody. That somebody being my boyfriend. He is the love of my life, and not long long before w got together, he sent me this song over msn and told me that "one day, i will be with you, so i'm not worried"... and 3 years later, here we are !! Listen to the song, for you to be able to understand properly.. but the lyrics have an underlying meaning :)

*4* Guns&Roses - Paradise City
I have wonderful memories of dancing with my best friend, in our local rock club when we were 14 to this song! it never fails to get me and her up dancing... i'm not going to go into detail about this song, because im sure that you will all know the song!

*3* Robbie Williams - Angels
It may sound like a cliche, but this song was played at my nanas funeral 10 years ago, and seen as she was the most wonderful person in my life, this song has a right to be here. This song was ingenious for Robbie Williams, and whenever it is played it always strikes a chord with me.

*2* Take That - Promises
To pick my favourite song of Take That, was very difficult, because i have been a huge fan of them since i was about 6... However, i have chosen this one because although it is upbeat, it has a very good background meaning, about people who promis things but never come through. This has happened alot, mainly with my parents, so have used it alot .

*1* The Full Monty Musical - Never Alone
This songs, in the show, is sung by a son at his mothers funeral, about how he will never be alon for she will walk with him. This song, i feel, can play part in everybodies life.
