This is why I love Dooyoo, you can actually write about things that are dear to you knowing that other's feel as passionately as you do and sweets!! wow!! one of my favourite subjects as usual with my top tens these are in no particular order.

Wham Bars-Chewy fruit flavoured bar with little nuggets of hard fizzy candy buried in them, used to be 10p and what value if you did not lose your teeth!!

Jawbreakers-Used to be three gobstoppers in a pack for 10p, about the size of a new 50p and came in various flavours, sweet n sour,ice cream flavours and even a variant called fireballs which were madly hot, PC brigade must have got hold of these because now there are for in a pack and they are titchy.

Anything by Swizzlers-Matlow -thought I would put these all together, Palma violets,love hearts,fizzers,Drumstick lollys.Sure there are more but these were the business.

Sherbet Dib-dab-Little red lolly and bag full of sherbet -heaven!!

Cough Candy-Bit like Marmite again normally you loved these aniseed twists or hated them, I LOVE THEM.

Sherbet Pips-Little pieces of candy in sugar all different fruit flavours.

Aniseed Balls-Lovely dark red colour with a proper Aniseed seed in the middle, used to last forever!!

Army And Navy-These were a dark blue lozenge shaped sweet with a flavour like aniseed

Cola Cubes-Do i really need to explain?? some makes had a lovely soft centre.

Penny chews-Black Jacks and Fruit Salad, had some recently but just not the same as when I were lad.

Well that's it and really enjoyed this one, nothing used to beat the thrill of going to the corner shop and buying a 1/4 of sweets loose out of a jar and watching them being weighed and then put in a little paper bag.A real pocket money weekly event not like now buying them in a bag from Tesco's booo!!

Summary: WE ALL LOVE SWEETS!!
