Advantages: Fun
Disadvantages: Sad because i can watch many any more
This is my top ten Programmes ever, some are up to date ones and some are no longer around on main TV or have loads of re-runs on Sky etc.
I have really thought heard about TV which i must admit i watch too much of and need to do something else.
Here goes:
1. Doctor Who - When i was a little girl i just loved Doctor who, probably because my dad was a huge fan and had us glued from as young as i can remember. Now its back and again i love it. I find it very different to the older Doctor who but still really enjoy watching it along with my son and daughter who are just hooked too. For some reason it seems to be very addictive.
2. Friends - Why oh why could they not all stay together and do plenty more episodes? It was just so funny and i never missed them at all and have the DVD collection. Some episodes are more memorable than others but i have never been bored with an episode and even watch them over and over again and still don't get bored of them.
3. The Simpsons - Why is this programme so good to watch again and again. My children are always glued to this and love this as much as my self and husband do. We have a few DVDs and plan on buying some more this Christmas. Its just such a great programme that keeps you interested.
4. ER - When ER first began i just loved it, the characters were just excellent and really made you feel what they were. The Drama i feel what the thing that kept you glued and on the edge of your seat. Also i loved looking at some of the good looking male doctors. The new episodes don't appeal to me as much but i still think its one of the best.
5. Big Brother - Sorry yes going to admit it, i have watched every single series of this and really enjoyed them. Some have been better than others but in all have loved watching each and everyone of them. I get so involved with the people in it you would not believe. Some of the characters just kept me glued. I liked the recent Big brother because of lots of twists involved, adding to the drama in the house.
6. Top Gear - Yes i am female and not totally into cars but i watch this with my husband and son and got to say that the presenters are just excellent and keep you glued. They make the topic of cars more interesting and with a great sense of humour create a very interesting show. I also love it when they wind the guests up.
7. Casualty - Another hospital type programme in my top ten, you can tell i like drama alot. I just love this programme and really get involved with the characters, my 8 year old daughter will not miss and episode, even though sometimes we hide behind the cushions. It really makes me laugh at the amount of bad things that happen to the staff if i worked in that hospital i would leave.
8. Knight rider - what a car, every ones dream to have one. I just loved the programme and was always glued, i had a little knight rider car which sat beside my bed.
9. One foot in the Grave - Oh this is just too funny, every time i watch this i end up in fits of giggles. It makes me really think if there are people like him in the world.
10. The X files - When this first started it was excellent, me and my husband watched it all the time and loved the unexplained of it all. Some episode were better than others and as time went on some seem to lose the plot or get a bit too silly but in all i really enjoyed watching.
Well that's my top ten programmes ever, whats yours?
Summary: TV is so much fun
