Advantages: good programmes

Disadvantages: hard to choose

Ok, there have been so many good TV programs it's kinda hard to choose just 10...but I managed to do it. After reshuffling quite alot!

10. Eastenders - A lot of people go on about this programme, and it can be very depressing and boring at times, but thats life. Some of the storylines have been paticulary gripping, like recently Ian being haunted by "Cindy". Creepy stuff. And with all the affairs, murders and thefts there are still some comedic moments and characters, like Minty and Gary. Sort of :)

9. Planet Earth - This isn't normally the type of programme I watch but I loved the breathtaking footage of exotic animals and locations. The time and effort it must have taken to make that series, was definately worth it

8. Hollyoaks - I love hollyoaks. But there are way too many beautiful people in it, makes you feel bad watching it. However, I love the storylines and characters. It is more aimed at teenagers, but that doesn't mean older people can't watch it! I paticulary like the storyline involving Amy and her baby, which is going on at the moment

7. Commander In Chief - This program was only on ABC1 and More4, so not sure if people have heard of it. But I thought it was great. It followed the story of the first female US president and how she had to juggle family life and dealing with terrorism problems, etc. I just wish they would make another series

6. Britains Got Talent - Some of the people on this show were talented and deserved to get trhough to the final. But I loved it purely for the entertainment of the more deluded contestants, some people had the most bizzare talents. It made me laugh and cry, especially when Connie (I think that was her name), the 6 year old sang Over the rainbow!

5. 8 Out of 10 Cats - This unique quiz is so funny, I especially like the BB specials, the brain-dead contestants who are made fun of and don't understand what's going on!

4. Pride of Britain Awards - This is the 1 awards show I can actually stand. Real-life people with heart-breaking stories being rewarded. It is actually impossible to get through the programme without shedding a single tear.

3. Ugly Betty - This programme is Brilliant. It is so over-the-top and extreme, but you can't help but love it. There are so many different storylines packed into each 1 hour long episode. There are so many great characters aswell who will make you laugh, cry and feel angry in just 1 hour. The series go on for a long time which is great, only downside is, You lose your friday night social life while it's on! :)

2. The X Factor - The best part of this programme is the auditions. Some are just painful and you feel like slapping some of the people for being so deluded and cocky. But then others, you do genuinely feel sorry for and some do actually have talent. But the deluded, bad-dancing contestants are the best

1. FRIENDS - Ok, this programme finished afew years ago. But I still watch the episodes regulary. You can't have seen an episode too many times. And they are constantly being repeated on TV. It's still funny even after you've seen the episode 20 times! No-one can forget the brilliant storylines, legendary characters and famous Central Perk. I say, they should reunite and make a film, and possibly afew more series :)

I was hugely disappointed when "Commander in Chief" was cancelled. I love Geena Davis but I guess the programme was just too much for the American Ultra Right Wing - a FEMALE President!!!!!!!!!
