Advantages: I love them
Disadvantages: none
10) 10 Years Younger
This is one of them shows in which I find highly annoying yet can't help myself but watch. I like how they put a down trodden badly dressed person and get members of the public to guess the person's age. Obviously the result is the person is much guessed to be much older than their actual age. The poor person is then made to look better and magically made over to look 10 years younger.. On a positive Mylene Klass now presents the show rather than Nicky Hambleton Jones who in my opinion had a damn cheek telling people they looked a state and old!
9) Wire in the Blood
A crime drama which I can just watch on my own without getting scared. I like Robson Green and because this programme is shot in Newcastle I always find myself trying to work out where in the city a scene is shot. The story lines are a bit gruesome and sometimes predictable but other times have a real twist and keep me guessing up until the killer is revealed. My cousin appeared as an extra in the last series so I found myself distracted from the programme and trying to spot her in the scene.
8) The Crystal Maze
This was one of my favourite shows growing up I absolutely loved it. Basically a team travelled around 4 different setting and went through various tasks to collect crystals which equated to time in the crystal dome. They then had to collect golden tickets not silver tickets in the crystal dome and if they got over 100 gold tickets they won a prize of their choice. I have to admit I love to watch the repeats on Challenge TV. The hair styles from the 90's make me laugh.
7)Jeremy Kyle Show
Its total car crash TV and because I am usually at work when this programme is on, on the occasions that I do get to watch it I find it a bit of a novelty! I can't believe some of the stories featured on the show and I also can't believe that these people come on the show and air their dirty laundry in public. It's total chav TV but so funny. The classic for me had to be about one of the most unattractive yourng women being accused of sleeping with 12 men by her boyfriend..... I was shocked that one person would never mind 12 of them!!! I'm sure if I had a daily dose of Jezza then this would probably move into my 10 worst tv shows of all time.
6) Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
Another comedy often found on repeat on BB3 I cant help but laugh at. The last series was spoilt for e slightly as Ralf Little was no longer in the show but generally there are lots of funny moments in the show. Unlike most I'[m not a big Gaz fan (played by Will Mellor) its Jonny (Ralf Little) who I find hilarious in addition to Janet (Sheridan Smith). I also like the character Louise... although on more than one occasion this character has been wearing clothes which I have in my own wardrobe!
5) Total Wipe-out
Admittedly I am a bit of a Richard Hammond fan, but I love the format of this programme. Along with the guy I sit next to at work I am going to apply to be on the show as I really want to have a go on the assault courses, especially having to jump across the four bouncy foamy balls. Watching it really makes me giggle.
4) Friends
Another programme that I don't mind watching even though I have seen alost every episode at least once. The final series is my absolute favourite. The whole Ross and Rachel relationship reminds me of two of my own friends who have a will they / wont they relationship. Love the humour in Friends, especially Monica, Chandler and Ross.
3) Dollyoaks... Whoops Hollyoaks.
My favourite soap. Young cast, lots of scandal in the storylines. My favourite character is little Tom he is so funny and comes out with some classic one liners. I also like Steph as she is bubbly and silly (very much like me) and obviously I think Calvin is great (and walks around with his top off showing off his physique!). Its on every week day at 6.30pm on channel 4 but I often have to turn onto E4 at 7pm to watch the next episode in advance if there is a gripping
2) Top Gear- This is a massive surprise for most people when I tell them I love Top Gear as I am such a girly girl but I love cars... Especially flashing expensive sports cars which feature heavily on this programme. Richard Hammond is definitely my favourite however I love the whole mocking of James May and Clarkson's arrogant dry humour. The Africa special was great, as was the America special in which the Top Gear team got chased by Red Necks. The humour in the programme is so my thing and Top Gear is another programme which I watch on repeat.
1) Gavin and Stacey
Basically a series about a lad from Essex (Gavin) and a girl from Wales; Barry to be precise (Stacey) who meet and end up getting married Both me and my boyfriend are slightly sad and have watched each episode over and over as its so funny. A reason I think we like the programme so much is that although we didn't meet under the same circumstances we did have a long distance relationship for a while, so we can relate to the characters. Also I am sure that Gavin's mother Pam is based on my own mother as they behave in the same way..... Which makes the programme even more hilarious. Catchphrases from the show like "Oi What's Occurring" and "My little Prince" are regularly repeated in our home.... Sad I know!
