Advantages: My TV collection of DVD's is slowly growing
Disadvantages: I spend far too much money on DVDs
Be prepared for lots of cheesy programmes in my list! These aren't really in a specific order because I love them all equally.
1. One Tree Hill - I cant remember the first time I saw this, but I was hooked from the start. I only started watching it because of Chad Michael Murray but now I'm truely addicted. Seasons 4 and 5 have been my favourite so far but was a bit dissapointed with the end of season 6. I cant wait for season 7 to start in September and it will be interesting to watch One Tree Hill without Lucas and Peyton.
2. Gossip Girl - The thing that I love about Gossip Girl is the fact that everyone isn't nice. I know that will sound a bit crazy but I do get bored of everyone having morals and doing the 'right thing'. Most of the characters in GG are bitches and are all out to get what they want without caring who they hurt. This is much more than the average teen drama around at the minute.
3. The Tudors - I wrote a review on series 1 of this today so read that if you want to know more.
4. Buffy the vampire slayer - I am in the process of buying all the series of this on box set at the minute, with my dooyoo miles of course. I refuse to pay over £100 in one go so i'm taking my time with this one, buying one each time ive finished watching the previous. I was so sad when Angel left that I actually cried but the show went on to be just as good without him.
5. Nip/ Tuck - This one I love because it is so gritty and doesnt shy away from any subject. The only problem I have with it, is that I have to look away sometimes when it comes to the surgery scenes are they are really gross at times.
6. Sabrina the teenage witch - This was my all time favourite as a teenager and I have every single episode on my PC which I'm working through watching at the minute. Melissa Joan Hart bugged me at times though because she was so silly, but I did watch all episodes the first time around and was sad to see it end.
7. Fringe - I've only just finished watching the first series of this and I love it!! It is something completely different to anything else we have on TV at the minute and I can't wait for series 2. Although this came from the guy behind Lost, it doesnt confuse me anywhere near as much but it is just as interesting.
8. Dawson's Creek - Me, my mum and my sister used to all get together on a Sunday afternoon to watch this and we all loved it just as much. Joshua Jackson was amazing in this programme and I doubt I would have watched it as much if it wasn't for him. I cried so much at the last episode that I think I would have trouble watching it again, I dont like being a blubbering mess.
9. Skins - I really loved the first 2 series' with the original cast but now they have changed i dont like it quite as much. It's great to watch some real teenage problems and lives for once and I applaud the show for not covering up all the nasty truths.
10. Lost - I got a bit behind on this last year after i moved back home from Canada but now i'm hooked again. I spent about 2 weeks watching this and catching up on 2 series, needless to say, my head hurt so much by the end of it. What I love most is that it is so confusing. What a fantastic way to keep us hooked.
Summary: My top 10 :D
