GOALKEEPERS

Neil Sullivan
Came to Tottenham from Wimbledon and in my opinion has done exceptionally well. He always seems to play well and I rate him as one of the best in the Premiership. He has great reflexes and handling. All I feel he has to do is command his defence better than he does and that is his weakness.

Kasey Keller
Joined Tottenham this season as a back up keeper for Sullivan and has yet to prove himself at Tottenham, but when at Leicester he played very well. He again has good reflexes but is a bit unsure when crosses get whipped into the box.

DEFENDERS

Steven Carr
A great little right back and he is probably one of the best right backs in the country. He is very fast and is not shy at taking on opponents. He also comes up with the odd spectacular goal e.g. against Manchester United at White Hart Lane when Spurs won 3-1 last season. Steven Carr is a very strong player for a little man and not many left midfielders get past him. He has a tremendous work rate and keeps going all the way to the final whistle.

Goran Bunjevcevic
A new signing form Red Star Belgrade. He seems to play well in the back three at Spurs. He is quite good in the air and rarely losses a header. He has settled himself quite well in the team but still yet to prove that he is top quality.

Mauricio Taricco
Still yet to find his real position at Tottenham, but where ever he plays he always plays quite well. I feel he is more of a back up player for anyone that gets injured and than he just comes in and replaces them. He is a bit of a fierce player and often gets booked or maybe sent off, that is his weakness because I feel it lets the rest of the team down.

Ben Thatcher
Came from Wimbledon a couple of seasons back and doesn’t seem to be the best of signings. Every time I have seen him play all he does is punts it up the pitch (that probably comes natural after playing for Wimbledon). He does
have some good qualities like his strength and determination.

Christian Ziege
A top quality signing from Liverpool and has already proved he was well worth the money by scoring the joint most goals for the club with another new signing Teddy Sheringham. He is another fast defender at Tottenham and he shows great strength and can cross the ball really well. He has a sweet left foot when it comes to set pieces. Overall a good new signing.

Gary Doherty
Joined from Luton Town a couple years ago and has established himself as a good defender in the Premiership as well as scoring a few when he plays as a striker. He will be a great loss at the moment for Spurs because he will be out for quite a long time. His tackling is top class and rarely gets it wrong.

Ledley King
A good defender now he has got a few games under his belt. He came from the Tottenham youth system and is very powerful. He has good tackling and not many strikers out pace him. His marking of players is very good and his stamina through out a game is good.

Chris Perry
Another player who joined from Wimbledon a few years back and has very good tackling and determination. Other than his determination and tackling I feel Chris Perry isn’t that good. he makes many mistakes like not marking properly and lets a lot of defenders in behind him.

MIDFIELDERS

Steffan Freund
He plays defensive midfielder and does pretty well. He shows good determination and his work rate is very good. his marking of players around the box isn’t that good and should be better if he wants to play in the Premiership. He shows to much aggression which can be a weakness. I feel Tottenham should replace him with someone better.

Tim Sherwood
Came from Blackburn a few years ago and has played well. Comes up with a few goals now and than which is an asset to the team. He doesn’t shy away from many challenges which shows great bravery.
His work rate is good and is a good team player.

Simon Davies
An up and coming star at Tottenham. Tottenham signed him a few years back and has came up through the youth system. Has a few games under his belt in the Premiership and has done well in those games. He scores quite often and has great creativity. He also has good flair and agility.

Willem Korsten
Came to Tottenham a few years ago and got injured straight away, from than on has only had a few games under his belt. Is still yet to prove he has any quality at all. When he was on loan at Leeds he seemed a good player and scored a few.

Stephen Clemence
Another player who hasn’t really done much at Tottenham. He has good pace and acceleration. He also is quite good at crossing the ball. I feel he is more of a back up player at Tottenham and gets used for when someone gets injured.

Darren Anderton (SICKNOTE)
He has been at Tottenham for a long while now but it doesn’t seem a long while because he is always injured. When he does play he is very good at crossing and can produce the odd good goal from a set piece.

Oyvind Leonhardson
I feel he is quality and has little opportunity to prove that he is. He has great agility and his determination is quite good. when he does play he provides lots of crosses, creativity and sometimes goals which is a good bonus to have in any squad.

Gus Poyet
New signing from Chelsea and a good one of that, Gus has the ability to make any game exciting. He shows great flair and strength and he works very hard off the ball as well to create opportunities for the other squad players.

STRIKERS

Chris Armstrong
Seems to be out of the frame at the moment at Spurs, but when he does play he scores quite a few goals. He is like some of the other players in the squad and hasn’t really done that much over the last few seasons. Once he gets fit again and starts getting into the te
am he could be another good asset to have on the bench and bring on to score.

Steffen Iversen
He has great determination and provides a lot of movement up front. He is a very good team player and combines well with other players. He is also quite good in the air and scores a few goals with his head.

Les Ferdinand
This player is very strong and posses a lot of threat in the air to opponents. He is also very powerful and can score the odd goal for the team. The only fault he has is every time he gets a knock he seems to be injured for a long time, maybe because he is getting old.

Sergei Rebrov
Signed a season back and has scored a few goals, but hasn’t really scored as many as everyone thought for how much he cost. He has good pace and his finishing is quite good. His creativity is good as well and creates a lot of goals.

Teddy Sheringham
Come back to Tottenham this season after a few successful seasons at Manchester United. Tottenham are hoping he brings some of that success to Spurs and I feel they will win the league cup this season. He is brilliant in the air and his finishing is very good. He has the most knowledge on the pitch and seems to be always one step ahead of the person marking him. Only really one disadvantage is his pace but sometimes makes up for that with his quick thinking.
