Advantages: NONE

Disadvantages: Risking Peoples Lives

A year and 12 days after the Paddington Rail Crash there's another one. A high speed train on it's way to Leeds de-rails killing four and injuring 80 others 4 seriously and one fighting for their life.

It was published today that the accident was caused by faulty rail track which caused the derailment. This track was known to be faulty and was earmarked for repair in January 2001. It was even stated that they had the rails ready but not the time to do this. 4 Lives were lost for the sake of saving some money.

When are Railtrack going to realise this is people's lives that they are putting at risk. Rail fares are so expensive anyway isn't it about time that some of this money was put into making things safe for the travellers.

They say they'll improve rail safety. Let's hope its not another broken promise.
