Advantages: Players would move more freely like in normal proffessions

Disadvantages: Players could just leave clubs every 3 months

£40 million for a bloke who kicks around a ball? Yes he may be good, very good in fact but how is any one person worth £40m? I personally believe that fees SHOULD be used to transfer players but I also believe that there should be a limit on the amount you can spend...like on a credit card! Maybe £40m, maybe £50m but however much it is it should be changed right away otherwise I fear that football as a sport may be killed off and many smaller clubs that rely on selling their key assets to stay solvent (e.g- Colchester selling Lua-Lua to Newcastle for £2.25m recently) will become no more!
