In short I finished with all A*s in my GCSEs however there is a lot more that needs explaining. The A*s were certainly not a reflection on the tutorial college. Their help was minimal and I actually stopped attending most lessons as I was getting more work done at home than in the classes. There were only 4 of us doing GCSEs because the college is primarily for A-Level retakes. The other 3 students were all retaks aiming to take foundation papers. I attended a tutorial college for 9 months to study for 7 GCSEs. Due to personal circumstances I had missed year 10 from school and I started at a tutorial college in the Autumn term of Year 11. The tutorial college was pretty much a last resort for me to get back in to education without having to enter a school and be put back a year to start at the beginning of the GCSE courses.
