The price of unleaded petrol in our town is currently 79.9p per litre.I have to run a estate car in order to get my 3 small children and their prams around.Because of the high petrol price we don't go out as often as we would like to and it gets pretty boring sat in the house all day.All my relitives live over 30 miles away so we don't see them much either.
I would'nt mind but paying this price so much but, with it looking more likely that we will be spending euros soon, why should we have to pay more than any other european country.In Spain, their petrol costs just 52p per litre.
How can Tony Blair say that fuel taxes are fair without his nose growing like pinocchio's is beyond me.Maybe if he had to struggle on my income he would change his tune soon enough.
I fully support the current protesters stopping the tankers delivering the fuel to petrol stations, even though I have run out of petrol and stuck at home.
