Advantages: Petrol isn't really that expensive when you look at it in perspective

I don't think that petrol is expensive at all. Well when you consider the amount that it costs here in the UK with other countries it may look expensive, but its really not. Let me explain why:

Petrol is a limited commodity. There is a finite resource and eventually it will run out. How much would you pay to enjoy coffee today, if you knew that in a few years time you could never taste it again?

Saying that, how much do people willingly pay for coffee anyway. It cost nearly £3 for a coffee in starbucks, for a drink that will last 15 minutes and do nothing practical at all. Yet for a litre of petrol (about £1 these days) you can travel about 4 miles (depending on your car).

So if i bought a starbucks coffee equivalent amount of petrol, I could get myself to work and back. And if i bought a starbucks i'd get no where. Not bad me thinks.

Summary: stop moaning!
