Advantages: I cannot in my wildest dreams think of any benefit from this

Disadvantages: plenty I really don't think putting the prices up helps the economy one bit

With the increasing rise in Petrol prices comes the increasing rise in food prices and heating and fuel costs. Why then do our wages not go up in conjunction with this and those on benefits (for what ever reason they need to be) get penalised for this too. Before you start shouting the Government are now penalising the poor even further by taxing the poor more. Taking the 10p levy off has certainly made a big difference in my wage packet and I and many of my colleagues have noticed that our pittence doesn't go anywhere near as far these days as it used to. And then he turns round and says he is helping. HUH.
Do you think Gordon Brown cares a jot for us poor fellows.
Not a jot.
Before you tell me he does, he has a nice wage packet quite hefty in fact, and what do the politician do as soon as they get into power each time, you guessed it give themselves a hefty pay rise, so don't tell me they care what happens to the lowely underpaids, cause they couldn't care less.
Now!
I have that off my chest the petrol crisis is not getting any better so why don't they let the boffins out there with some amazing answers to this problem loose on the motor trade and let them build vehicles that run on other fuels like water and hydrogen and electric and fuels from old food waste and the like. I know these things are out there but unlike the electric car, and now some water driven vehicles that are slowly coming on the market I don't see much improvement. Can this be the way forward.
I have a suggestion for solar powered vehicles too but that is something for someone else to perfect. Would it not be the perfect solution to all these fuel problems when we could get unlimited sources of power for our homes businesses and cars from the sun itself whether it shines or not. Think on Gordon Brown its about time someone put you straight.

Summary: Just don't get me started

Well, the boffins got as far as making cars that could run on bio-fuels, but then found that caused a whole different set of environmental problems. Perhaps working om teleportation devices instead would be the answer, LOL!
