Where do you start!?

Everywhere we turn we see graffitti plastered on walls, monuments knocked over cars burned out. Local authorities say they're working with police to deal with it yet things never change.

It's getting ridiculous when you see the vandals have the audacity to "tag" their work yet still get let off. HOW? WHY?

Whats the point in saying they will be dealt with when they know who they are yet still they are left.

If it was only the graffitti that they were getting off with then yes I'd still have a grievance but what really gets my back up is when I visit the cemetry and find headstones knocked down it annoys so much to know nothing is being one about it. And yes I have witnessed this 1st hand and reported it to local police who took so long to come that the culprits had gone and that was the end of it.

What can we do to stop this? And no this is nt where I say parents or society are to blame as I honestly think that this is done off your own back an the sooner we stop blaming parents, backgrounds & society for every fault that vandals have the sooner we can start making places nicer.

Dealing with vandals is the first stepping stone to changing our society as this is a big problem but not as big as some and in my opinion if we can take a firm stand against the smaller problems then the bigger ones will be easier to deal with.

I ask this question vandals take some weird pleasure from damaging what isn't theirs how would they like it if everytime they broke a fence or wrote somewhere they shouldn't the same was done to them?

Are they not the same as bullies that once they see a stand being taken they lose the "power" they hold and eventually stop?

We as a society can help the authorities by reporting incidents or if we see something & we know who is responsible then report them. However the police / auhorities need to be willing to take the time to act on the information or this problem will never pass.
