Disadvantages: Complete lack of respect for people and their property

Vandalism is a serious crime which people do not pay enough attention to.
Vandalism often occurs when there are large groups of youths who think it will be fun to write abusive words on the swings in the park or to carve their names no to the bodywork of cars.
It is not taken seriously enough as most of the time the police or local authorities cannot help if the vandals are not caught red-handed. They just say the same thing over and over again that they will get back to you as soon as they have more information.
But who is to blame? Most people would say that it is the parents' faults. They should teach their kids how to respect other people and their property. However, this is not always the case. Many parents think of their children as angels and have no idea what they get up to once they go out with friends.
Also, sometimes the council is to blame. There are not enough facilities for young people so they just roam the streets in crowds and this then leads to vandalism.

Summary: Complete lack of respect for other people and their property
